My name is Brian. I'm a full-stack web developer, but with a concentration front-end and UI. I studied at DePaul University in Chicago and received a BS in Computer Graphics and Animation and a MS in Computer Science.
I first taught myself HTML so I could make a website for me and my friend's BMX team in Junior High. Back then, in the 28.8bps modem days, I had to host it on 4 different
Angelfire accounts just to work around the free 5mb storage limit. I didn't mind the extra work it took to set it up, as long as I wasn't spending my entire weeks of allowance on web hosting. I still remember being so amazed that I could upload a new picture or video, click save, and
bam, all my friends could see it too.
Recently I moved from Chicago to San Francisco where I continue making websites and riding my bike (which is not quite a BMX bike anymore). With the gorgeous scenery and invasive fog aside, SF has been a great place for me to stay keen on web technology with all the tech events and meetups around the city. There has
never been so much to do.
